Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of Unbarria Sky (the “Service”). By downloading or using the Service, or by posting a sky, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service
The Service is an app for anonymously leaving sky photos and viewing skies observed by someone somewhere in the world. There are no accounts. Posts are associated with an anonymous device identifier.
2. Posting Rules / Community Guidelines
You may post photos where the sky is the main subject. People or other objects may appear if faces and personally identifying information are not recognizable. You may not post:
- Photos that show a face, name, address, license plate, or other personally identifying information.
- Photos where no sky is visible, the sky is not the main subject, screenshots, or photos taken by someone else.
- Sexual, violent, discriminatory, otherwise offensive, or illegal content.
Violating posts may be hidden or deleted without prior notice based on reports or our review. Repeated violations may result in posting restrictions.
3. Posted Photos
You retain copyright in photos you post. By posting, you grant the operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the photo and related information, including posting time and coarse place labels, for the following purposes:
- Providing and operating the Service, including display and distribution in the timeline, archive, and widget.
- Improving the Service and researching or developing new features through aggregate, non-identifying analysis.
- Introducing and promoting the Service, including on the App Store and websites, in a way that does not identify individuals.
This license ends prospectively when a post is deleted. It may take several days for deletion to be fully reflected in systems, and deletion does not retroactively affect aggregate statistics or promotional materials already created before deletion.
4. Reports and Blocking
You can report inappropriate skies from each post menu. You can also block skies from a specific observer and unblock them later. Reported posts are reviewed promptly and may be hidden when necessary.
5. Subscription (Archive)
- Archive is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your App Store account, and the subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can cancel anytime in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. No prorated refunds are provided by the Service.
- The price and benefits shown on the purchase screen apply.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not decompile, scrape, access the Service without authorization, spoof identifiers, evade moderation, or otherwise interfere with operation of the Service.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided as is. Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, the operator is not liable for damages arising from posted content, interruption, changes, or termination of the Service.
8. Age
The Service is not available to children under 13.
9. Changes and Governing Law
These Terms may be updated as needed. Important changes will be announced on this page and in the app. These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and disputes related to the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
